We want you to be part of the show!
If there is one or more aged care workers who make a difference in your life or the life of someone you care about, record a video message of thanks and send it to us - we will post it here on the Mental Moments website, and we might even play it during the show!
Some tips to shooting a great video message:
Shoot your video in LANDSCAPE mode - horizontal, not vertical. This greatly improves the quality and resolution of the video.
Find a nice quiet location to shoot your message. A place where there isn't too much background noise so we can hear your voice nice and clear.
Start your video message with a brief introduction, your name and where you're from so we can make sure to credit you properly - for instance "Hi my name is Jenny, and this message is for my mum Betty who is living at RFBI Masonic Village Dubbo. I just want to say a big thanks to the whole team for looking after mum so well, she is so grateful. And mum we all love you!"
The ideal length of a video message is about 30 seconds, but no more than 60 seconds.
